This sounds awesome! I'm so glad the substack app is finally available for those of us with androids! Great timing for the chat too, with so many writers working on NaNoWriMo projects!
It looks like the chat feature isn't available on Android yet, but I'm sure it will be soon!
And yeah, if this proves popular, I think I'm going to use this to replace threads in general! I think threads on the 'stack are hard for people (needing to sign in, etc) so hopefully the chat will generate conversation more easily. But I won't make that move until it's available to Android folks too!
I've had a similar experience with threads. Whether they flop completely or blow up into interesting discussions seems very dependent on a lot of people sitting down to talk at the same time.
Exactly! Which is harder to accomplish if you're sitting on a desktop--having the space on your phone seems to make the process easier to take "to go." At least, so far!
